Cross map
A strong all-round performance built on excellent positioning and decision-making. Commanded the box confidently, claiming four crosses and starting three promising attacks from the back. Both goals conceded came from second-phase reactions — the initial saves were of high quality, but the parry direction left rebounds in dangerous areas. Distribution was composed under press, with a clear preference for building through the right side.

Deep cross from the left — Claim
Started two yards deeper than ideal — still claimed cleanly at the highest point. A flatter start would allow an earlier attack on the ball.

Low drive, near post — Save
Excellent set position — hands fixed in line with the ball, minimal spread. Strong save, but the parry pushed the rebound back into the danger zone. Deflected wide or low away from goal next time.

1v1 vs striker through on goal — Denied
Held depth well, stayed big through the approach and forced the finish into the side netting. Textbook decision to delay rather than dive early.

Back pass received under press — Distributed
First touch opened away from goal and the ball went long to the safe side. Composure under press was a highlight of the match.

Curling effort from the edge — Goal
The initial save was outstanding — a full-stretch stop at the top corner. The rebound fell to the oncoming midfielder for the second-phase goal. Recognising the danger earlier and screaming the call would help the defence clear.
